Hitchin Health and Wellbeing Day



HEALTH experts are offering free checks and advice at an annual health day.

Backed by the North Herts District Council, Rotarians and Hitchin Initiative, Hitchin Health and Wellbeing Day takes place on Saturday 7th June with over 20 stalls.

Specialists will be in Market Place from 9.30am to 1.30pm providing health checks and information on a range of issues such as Prostate Cancer,Parkinson’s,Hair Care, Stroke Association,Hope Alcohol and drugs charity. These and more showing how to include more healthy activities into your daily life.

I am a retired Special Needs teacher who joined Rotary 8 years ago to make some new friends and get involved in the Town I love,Hitchin. 8 years later I have been involved in many , many wonderful projects, events and great social happenings plus I have made some life long friends. Rotary Breakfast starts my weekend...always look forward to the camaraderie & hearing news of the various committees and plans for the future. My other local commitments involve being a trustee of Hitchin Youth Trust, Hitchin Arts & Recreation Trust and The Norman Hyde Scout Trust.
